８月１９日に行われる日本代表トレーニングマッチ、東京ゴアナーズ戦のメンバーが発表されました。
出場メンバーは下のメンバー表の通りです。

メンバーはこのあと、8/4,8/12のトレーニングを経て8/19のトレーニングマッチに臨みます。

I was very impressed with the efforts of everybody who turned up for the fitness session and have been very impressed with the standard of football that I have witnessed over the past few weeks. The future is bright for Japanese football and I look forward to working together with players young and old to help prepare them for the 2014 International cup.

I want to remind players that not being selected is not an indication that they will not be required in the future. I would like all players to continue to work hard. We will be working with all coaches to help players reach their full potential over the next few years. New selection phases will take place prior to future games.

To those who have been selected, it is a great honour to represent your country. Approach this game with pride and do the very best that you can. I am very excited about working with you all over the coming weeks. There is some great potential in this team and I know that we can be very successful. See you at training on Saturday!
